Central Vein and Cosmetic Medical Centre in Newcastle was established in 1990 by Dr Paul Thibault and is one of the longest running specialist vein treatment centres in Australia. It was the first centre to perform Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy in the country, and the first in Newcastle to perform Endovenous Laser Treatment for varicose veins . Central Vein and Cosmetic Medical Centre has also specialised in the use of injections and laser for facial rejuvenation for over 15 years. 

Dr Paul Thibault is known for his pioneering work in the non-surgical treatment of varicose and spider veins. He also has a wealth of experience in the use of cosmetic lasers and in non-surgical cosmetic medicine. He is a founding Fellow of the Australasian College of Phlebology and an internationally renowned expert in the management of venous disease.

Dr Simon Thibault is also a Fellow of the Australasian College of Phlebology, having completed the training and examinations conducted by the College. He has a keen interest in the latest non-surgical techniques in both the treatment of varicose veins and facial lines.
