Central Vein and Cosmetic Medical Centre in Newcastle was established in 1990 by Dr Paul Thibault and is one of the longest running specialist vein treatment centres in Australia. It was the first centre to perform Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy in the country. Central Vein and Cosmetic Medical Centre has also specialised in the use of injections and laser for facial rejuvenation for over 15 years. 

Dr Paul Thibault is known for his pioneering work in the non-surgical treatment of varicose and spider veins. He also has a wealth of experience in the use of cosmetic lasers and in non-surgical cosmetic medicine.

Dr Simon Thibault is one of the new breed of phlebologists (vein specialists) who have undergone and completed the training and examinations conducted by the Australasian College of Phlebology. He has a keen interest in the latest non-surgical techniques in both the treatment of varicose veins and facial lines.
