VenaBlock Vein Glue

VenaBlock cyanoacrylate glue is a safe medical-grade "Superglue" of the type that has been used for many years in other parts of the body to close down abnormal vessels. Only recently has it become available for varicose veins. Medical glues such as VenaBlock have been shown to be extremely safe on administration with no adverse long-term effects.

Unlike other endovenous procedure like laser or radiofrequency, VenaBlock doesn't require large volumes of anaesthesia, Most patients will only need a single injection of local anaesthetic for this procedure, and can go back to normal activities straight away. There are other advantages of using VenaBlock over Endovenous Laser, with many fewer needles during the procedure and no chance of thermal injury to nerves or skin. 

Success of glue treatments has been shown in studies to be similar to Endovenous laser, the benchmark for modern managenent of varicose veins. It is also a far superior treatment compared to the old stripping operation.
