Vascular and Pigmented Lesions Laser

Facial veins and capillaries and some pigmentation blemishes are treated with the Cutera Excel V KTP laser.

The Excel V laser is a highly sophisticated medical instrument that produces an intense, high–energy beam of green light. As red skin lesions (those containing predominantly blood vessels) and brown pigmented lesions specifically absorb green light, the target lesion can be selectively heated and destroyed without any destruction of the overlying skin or surrounding tissues. In other words, most treatable lesions can be removed effectively with minimal, if any, residual blemish.

The Excel V laser is  fitted with a unique cooling device that is applied to the skin during treatment. This minimises discomfort and reduces the risk of burns to the skin.
